This policy explains what personal data Hive processes, why, and the rights you have under the GDPR. We collect the minimum needed to sell and support the software.
What we collect
Account email and a hashed password, your license and device activations, and, if you consent, anonymous analytics. Payment details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card.
Why we process it
To create your account, deliver and validate your license, provide support, and, with consent, improve the product. The legal bases are contract performance and, for analytics, your consent.
Processors
We use Stripe for payments and Resend for transactional email, each under a data processing agreement. Analytics, when enabled, is privacy-friendly and IP-truncated.
Retention
We keep account and license data while your account is active. On deletion we remove or anonymize your personal data.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export, or delete your data from your account, or by contacting us. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
